Shining Tears: one of the latest addition to my ps2 games. its like a mix with diablo, final fantasy classics, and breath of fire 2d graphics. the gameplay, solely based on hack and slash with a little magic here and there, which gets pretty redundant at times...but who doesnt love button smashing games. the game sequence goes from a quick scene with people simultaniously talking to each other with 2d characters on the screen and a text box where you can read or just skip and head on to the fight scene. the foes are stupid coz they just stand in one corner and wait for your attack. you ally is also stupid coz it only helps you when your dying. with all the negativity in this game, i'll still say that its good just because i'm sorta bored with all these games that are just so damn complicated. sometimes i just want to relax and play classic type games.
